Emily's 1st Job!!!

Emily had her 1st job interview on June 19, at the Dakota Watch Company. Can you believe that?!?!
She was excited and very nervous, but apparently she impressed them as they offered her the position immediately after her interview! We are super excited for her and proud of her!
The photo below (in White) is just minutes before she left for her interview. She looks great, very professional for sure!

The photo above (in Red) with Dakota was after her 1st day of work, on June 22.
Emily says that Dakota is her "good luck" charm since she got the job at the Dakota Watch Company!
And please note that Dakota is wearing the very 1st outfit that his Aunt Emmy bought him (before he was born)! I am sure many more are to follow, but this was a special day and special outfit for Emily and Dakota so we just had to blog about it!

Great Lakes Loons VS Peoria Chiefs - 5/30/09

....TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME....BUY ME SOME PEANUTS & CRACKER JACKS....
I surprised Andrew and Emily with tickets to a Loons Baseball Game last Saturday evening!!! The game started out great, with the Loons in the lead 5 to 1!!! We had nice seats in section 109, right behind the home plate! The game remained very close, but somehow by the end of the 9th the Chiefs had tied the game up and into overtime they went. Finally at the end of the 14th inning, the Chiefs led 7 to 5. It was a bummer to see the Loons lose, but by that time we were all getting really tired and we were glad it was finally over. After the game there were fireworks too, and boy were they nice!
We enjoyed beautiful, sunny weather and some yummy nachos to boot! We had fun playing the crazy baseball stadium games and cheering our heads off with the rest of the crowd! Here are some photos just for fun!
